Taxis can be a very useful means of transportation. If you are like me and you hate driving in the city, taking a taxi or a cab is the perfect solution. I don't like driving in the city because everyone drives like a crazy person and I always get lost. When I take a taxi, I don't have to worry about those things because taxi drivers are very skillful drivers and know the city streets "like the back of my hand." I also save money on parking when I take a taxi. Parking in the city is almost impossible during the day and the weekends.

Taking a taxi is simple. The first thing you must do is flag down a taxi. I usually wave my hand from the side walk or whistle very loudly. When I get into the cab, the driver asks me where I want to go. I tell him the address and that's all! When we reach my destination, he tells me the fare, or the price of the trip, and I pay him.  Many times, I leave him a tip. Taking the taxi can be very useful for traveling in the city. I highly recommend it.
